Join the Innis Book Club to receive your own copy of this spectacular memoir, and to meet with fellow avid Innisian readers and engage in meaningful conversation.

Limited copies are available on a first come, first served basis. So, register as soon as possible!

Set during the twilight of the apartheid, this memoir by comedian and The Daily Show host, Trevor Noah, tells the story of a young-man’s childhood being born to a Swiss-white father and a Black Xhosa mother at a time when such union was considered a crime. Through comedic autobiography, Trevor explores his and his family’s struggles in navigating their place in the world, his relationship with himself and his mother, as well as his mother’s fearless fight to save her son from a cycle of poverty, violence, and abuse.
