Black Coffee Social Movie Night: Mississippi Masala

 - 10:00 pm

Join us for BCS: Movie Night, an intimate evening film experience presented by Black Coffee Social.

This special edition takes place in a private theatre at Innis College, located on the University of Toronto’s campus, and features a screening of Mississippi Masala, starring Denzel Washington and Sarita Choudhury.

Chosen in recognition of Black History Month and its connection to Valentine’s weekendMississippi Masala is both a romance and a powerful exploration of race, identity, and cultural tension across Black and South Asian communities.

This is a seated film screening in a private theatre, not a traditional Black Coffee Social mixer. The evening centers on the shared experience of watching a film together, followed by optional, informal conversation in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Seating is intentionally limited to 39 guests to preserve a cozy viewing experience.
