Open to the public!
A lonely insurance man with a repressed hypersexual mind goes on a psychedelic journey with a talking duck.
Made during the heyday of adult-oriented animated features (a la Fritz the Cat), Down and Dirty Duck (aka Cheap) is a crudely comic but curious 70s exploitation film that was produced by Roger Corman and was directed and largely animated by Charles Swenson. This is a universe where any object can turn into a reproductive organ or the horizon can become an experimental collage – all while the Flo & Eddie score accompanies this internal journey.
Presented on a rare 35mm print and with a virtual Q&A with the director!
