Masked at the Movies presents FACES PLACES

November 25
 @ 6:45 pm
 - 10:00 pm
A mask-mandatory screening of FACES PLACES (2017).

Auteur filmmaker Agnès Varda and photographer JR visit villages, small towns, and factories throughout France to meet communities of people and create large portraits of them to plaster on walls and structures. Over the course of their travels, the two artists get to know each other and become friends.

Respirators are mandatory for all attendees and are to be worn at all times. This will be enforced, with free masks available if needed. PLEASE NOTE: The building is a public space so you may encounter folks without a mask or wearing surgicals. However, INSIDE the theatre, respirators will be enforced.

The space, including washrooms, is wheelchair-accessible.

There are 13 air changes an hour.

The seats are theatre-style with arms, the cushion is 19 inches across. If you’d like alternative seating that might be more accommodating or comfortable for you, please reach out and I can send you photos of two other options.

Doors will open at 6:45 pm and it is general seating. The movie will start around 7:30 pm.

While this is a free event, donations to danita.steinberg@gmail.com are appreciated to keep this event afloat for as long as possible.
