CSI presents: Quantum Cinema: On Realism’s Futural Past

Domietta Torlasco is a critical theorist, filmmaker, and Professor of Italian and Comparative Literature at Northwestern University. She is the author of three books on intermediality and the potential to reimagine histories and forms of life, most recently The Rhythm of Images: Cinema Beyond Measure (Minnesota, 2021). Her video essays have screened at national and international venues, including the Kino Arsenal in Berlin, the Pacific Film Archive in Berkeley, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.
