Join the Urban Studies Program for a screening of Deep Blue—a poignant film about a community’s fight to preserve their once-protected and sacred wetlands against commercial destruction.
A portion of ticket proceeds will be directed to transitional living programs at Borden Place Inc. (BPI), a Toronto-based charity providing supportive and transitional housing to marginalized folks impacted by homelessness, addiction, and mental health.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with filmmakers Howard and Mitzi Allen. BPI Executive Director Alana Jones will moderate the discussion.
