The Sudanese Students Union, in partnership with Innis College, proudly presents the acclaimed documentary, Sudan, Remember Us, in Innis Town Hall. This is the film’s first screening, following its 2024 Toronto International Film Festival debut.
After the screening, the Sudanese Students’ Union president and Dr. Nisrin Elamin, assistant professor of anthropology, will lead a discussion on the conflict in Sudan.

Tickets for this event start at $15. The SSU will direct all proceeds to the United Nations emergency response rooms (ERRs) in Sudan.
Sudan, Remember Us follows Sudanese youth yearning for freedom. Their revolution is poetic, driven by the power of words. As it intertwines their stories, the film reassembles fragments of a revolution, a battle pitting the voices of youth against the military’s might.
