In an interview with U of T News, recent Innis College graduate Eli Rose reflects on his undergraduate experiences, motivations, and next steps.

Eli has been an passionate and impactful leader at the College, contributing to Innis’s Black Student Experience Working Group and our student mentorship program, The Insider — to name a few.

In recognition of the many ways Eli has effected positive change for Black students, he was recently awarded the Lesra Martin Student Changemaker Award by Innis College.

Congratulations, Eli! We can’t wait to see what comes next for you.

"… where things really took off for me was when I became a student mentor at Innis College at the tail end of my second year. I helped with training and offered support. I met a lot of good people and found I was able to empower others, especially first-year students."
