Drawn from her new book, The Archival Afterlives of Philippine Cinema (Duke University Press, 2024), Bliss Cua Lim focuses on two informal archives that have allowed rare works of Philippine cinema to circulate: Video 48, a legendary brick-and-mortar video store specializing in vintage films, and the Kalampag Tracking Agency, a two-person curatorial initiative and screening program focusing on short experimental film and video.
