Lychees, a typhoon and a bootleg CD evoke dreams and regrets between Hong Kong and Guangzhou. For her mother Chau-Kuen (PAN Jie), Hong Kong means an unfulfilled quest for love; for Ting (LIN Dongping), it’s a solitary search for her father, encountering faces in the vast sea of people, both familiar and unfamiliar at the same time.
