Shorts Screening | With Love, We Watch

May 3
 @ 7:00 pm
 - 9:30 pm

Join us for With Love, We Watch, a short film program spotlighting emerging filmmakers from marginalized communities—particularly those who are racialized, Muslim, and other communities underrepresented in mainstream cinema. These films explore the many expressions of love—personal, familial, even imaginary—while confronting themes of identity, belonging, and quiet defiance. They speak to a yearning for justice and dignity, where self-acceptance is rooted in heritage, resistance, and imagination.

The screening will be followed by a conversation with some of the filmmakers who are in town—a chance to hear more about their creative process, the stories behind the screen, and what it means to tell truth through film.

50% will go towards the Toronto Palestine Film Festival (TPFF). Your donation supports TPFF’s mission to bring the powerful narratives of the Palestinian people to Toronto through film and the arts. Now entering its 18th year, TPFF is excited to make this edition its best yet—and your contribution will help make that possible.
