Do you have an idea to support Innis students?
Innis College wants to help.
Did you know that funding is available for initiatives that directly benefit the Innis student community?
If you have a project or program that would enhance Innis students’ experience, submit a proposal for Student Services funding today! Your idea could be anything from an event to room refurbishing, an extra-curricular program to a digital project. The key criterion is that it directly, tangibly benefits Innis students. Find recent examples below.
Student Services funding comes from a levy that all Innis students pay. The resulting sum (upwards of $35K annually) is allocated by the Student Services Committee (SSC) — a part of Innis College Council where students comprise at least half of the decision-making body.
SSC meets twice annually to review proposals. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5. Your deadline to submit proposals, using the form below, is Wednesday, February 26 at 12pm EST (i.e., noon).
Previously funded initiatives includes…
- Innis's Thursday-morning Breakfast Club
- Startup funding for Out@Innis, the College's 2SLGBTQ+ club
- Innis College's community garden
- Innis Student Art Exhibition framing and installation
- Refurnishing the second-floor student lounge and residence lobby
