Three high school friends reunite for the first time in years, their memories of each other shaped by the passage of time. Their intertwined pasts reveal a mythical connection that only grows more complex and unsettling. By the shimmering pool and by the seaside, the fleeting, dreamlike nature of their lives and unresolved bonds resurface and linger.

Nelson YEO is a Singaporean filmmaker. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in digital filmmaking from Nanyang Technological University in 2011. After graduation, he participated in Berlinale Talents Tokyo in 2014, BiFan Fantastic Film School in 2015 and Locarno Filmmakers Academy in 2018. His short films Mary, Mary, So Contrary (2019) and Here is Not There (2020) were recognized at international film festivals. His debut feature Dreaming & Dying premiered at the 76th Locarno and won the Filmmakers of the Present – Golden Leopard.
