The Academy for Lifelong Learning Toronto offers a full program of workshops / courses, talks, walks, special interest groups and special events for seniors and older adults (50+) who want to be part of an active learning community.

The Academy is a not-for-profit organization operated by volunteers, with a mission to promote learning and social interaction through the exchange of ideas and stimulating discussion. Formed in 1991Academy members are intellectually curious, interested in exploring and understanding the world, sharing ideas, and meeting others in a learning environment that is enjoyable and supportive. The Academy has a long association with the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies and is a long-term member of TAN (Third Age Learning Network),

A full program of workshops / courses are offered both in-person in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and online via Zoom. Online workshops allow for virtual attendance from practically anywhere. Academy members may register for up to 4 workshops as part of their membership fee. Membership also includes talks, walks, special interest groups and some special events.

The Academy offers in-person workshops at Tartu College, 310 Bloor Street West, in downtown Toronto, between the Spadina and St. George subway stations (at the north end of the University of Toronto campus).
